Stephanie Eggum - Omni-Power/Precision Turbo/AR Fab Civic

Stephanie Eggum started racing back in 2003 with her 2000 Honda Civic in the NDRA Turbo 4 & Nopi Chic street classes.  She ended that season with a best run of 10.57 @ 138mph and many 1st & 2nd place finishes.

In 2004 she moved up to the Pro 4 Cylinder / Hot Rod class w/ a newly purchased 2000 Honda Civic running a season best of 9.20 @ 175mph…This run was good enough to clinch the mph record for the Battle Of The Import Series Pro Import class.

In 2005 the team got off to an unfortunate start with a devastating engine fire at Moroso Motorsports Park, which meant the car would have to be completely rebuilt.  The team regrouped, and with the addition of Jeromie Hicks as crew chief, managed to rebuild the Civic in a mere 3 months.  The car debuted mid-season at the NHRA Moroso race August 20-21.  Competing in only 11 races Stephanie still managed to finish 2nd in points in the NDRA Pro FWD class and 5th in points in the NHRA Hot Rod Class, running a season best of 8.41 @ 176mph.

In 2006 the Eggum Racing team got off to a great start at the season opener at Moroso Motorsports Park, qualifying 1st and taking the win!  Throughout the 2006 season Stephanie continued to rock with ET’s rapidly approaching the exclusive 7 second territory.

Finally on Sept. 30-31 at Englishtown, NJ Stephanie became the first FWD Honda in the world to run in the 7’s and the first Hot Rod car this year to break the 8 second barrier, blasting out a 7.95 @ 179mph! Then to prove that this was not just luck Stephanie backed up her initial pass with a 7.92 @ 181mph, and then another at 7.97 @ 182mph.  For the finals, Stephanie lined up against Ron Lumus, blasting out another record setting pass of 7.90 @ 184mph!

The Eggum Racing Team ended up placing 2nd in points for the 2006 season but I can assure you she will be back in 2007 more eager than ever to win the championship
